Study: Americans Trust NFT Investments More Than Brits
In the past and current years, 2 cryptocurrency trends have distinguished themselves: NFT and DeFi. Billions of dollars poured into sectors that many previously knew little about. Piplsay conducted a survey among Americans and Britons to understand what users think of NFT today.
In September, the Piplsay platform surveyed about 40,000 respondents: 30,870 US residents and 9,170 UK residents. The company’s specialists conceived such a study in order to assess the current attitude of consumers towards the NFT sector.bitcoin.
Until recently, hardly anyone would have been able to maintain a conversation about NFT, since there was not so much information about non-fungible tokens, and most people simply did not understand anything about them. However, 2020 and 2021 changed the situation. With the growth of the NFT and DeFi sectors, more and more users become aware of them.
Recently, several surveys were conducted with 1,000 to 10,000 people to explain user attitudes towards NFT.
In December 2020, there was a study that showed that the NFT market had much more room for growth, and this paid off. Months later, during the height of the NFT hype, one poll revealed that 3 out of 4 sports fans are skeptical about the longevity of an NFT investment.

The Piplsay survey turned out to be much larger than the above. The platform team managed to collect data from more than 40,000 Americans and British.
Based on the data received, 48% of Americans surveyed consider NFT a “good and safe investment”, but only 22% of UK residents think the same. 18% of Americans have already invested in NFTs, while only 5% of Britons have done the same. It is also noted that 44% of Americans believe that NFT will not disappear anywhere, although among the British this opinion is held by only 27%.
The poll is quite fresh: it was conducted on September 3-5 of this year among users aged 18 and older.
